Does anyone know what the slowest speed 256K
DRAMs that can be used in the IIgs one meg
memory card would be? If memory serves a
1 mhz 6502 needs at least 400 nanosecond
chips, so I would assume 200 nanosecond chips
would be a bit too slow for the card. Am I
correct?

200ns is FASTER than 400ns.

I really do not want to referee your argument,
but... Bill, it appears that you did not read
the original message carefully. Roy said that
a ONE MHz 6502 needs at least 400ns RAM, and so
he assumed that 200ns RAM (twice as fast)
would be two slow for a IIgs (about three times
faster).

Thank you Paul. That is what I meant, though my wording wasn't exactly what I was thinking. "Don't listen to what I say, listen to what I'm thinking." ;-)
