For Apple DOS, I always liked ASCII Express Professional, not to be
confused with the plain "ASCII Express" (unprofessional?).  It was
especially useful with the Novation AppleCat modem, but would work with
almost anything.

Unfortunately at one point all of my Apple software was lost in a move,
and AEPro is one of the items I haven't yet managed to replace.

AEPro was written by Mark Robbins, who lived in the Denver metro area at
the time, as did I.  But I haven't been in touch with him since I moved
away from Colorado in 1982.  Does anyone have current contact
information?
