Just experimented with posting on comp.lang.asm.x86 and there was no
problem. It could be that your ISP's news server doesn't include that
newsgroup. (My ISP's server doesn't support access to binary groups.)
You may be able to post to the newsgroup via Google at
http://groups.google.com/ .
