Not at all.
Simply display them side by side in either of two configurations:
1) Left picture on left, and right on right, centers no more than
2.5" apart, so that "relaxed" vision can fuse the two images.
2) Left picture on right, right picture on left, centers no more than
4" apart, so that the pair can be fused by "crossing" eyes.
Both techniques used to be quite common when stereo photography
was in its 1950's heyday and stereo pictures were printed in photo
magazines.
A third method can also be used, but requires a mirror and
a bit more preparation:
Left picture on left, "flipped" horizontally, right picture on right
un-flipped, viewed by holding mirror perpendicular to screen
with reflective surface facing the left image. Right image viewed
directly is fused with left image reflected in mirror. (A variation
flips the right picture, and then the reflective surface of the mirror
faces the right picture.)
With the third approach, the centers of the images can be
more widely separated, since the mirror can be angled to
achieve fusion.
