I got around some of the slot issues by using disk
drive controllers instead of the built in smartport
devices. For example, I have a 5.25 controller in
slot 7, a superdrive card in slot 6, CFFA in slot 5,
nothing in slot 4, although I could being a rom3 you
can have a card in this slot and still use the built
in mouse port, ECON sound digitizer in slot 3, being
romless it doesn't affect the display port, internal
modem port in slot 2, and ProGrappler in slot 1.
Everything works fine this way but I have to remember
that my 3.5" are in slot 6 and 5.25" in slot 7.
