The lower 4 megs of the IIgs memory is DMA'd by the mainboard, so your good to go on that. That's why the board doesn't have 8 Megs
as it requires some magic to DMA the upper 4 meg RAM area. While this card hasn't been tested with DMA cards, there should be no
reason why it won't work.
