If you want to try, I can't guarantee anything but what I'd do here is
set it up with a II+, IIe or IIgs, whichever you were using it with
and if as likely it didn't boot, I'd try reading the drive with a
utility like Copy II Plus.
If no luck, I'd try swapping in known good components one at a time
and trying again. In order I'd try the cable, terminator, card and
the drive case itself. If I still had no luck and the drive mechanism
itself is the same make and model as mine then I'd swap circuitboards
on it. If it got that far and nothing worked then the only recourse would be one of the drive saver companies which isn't usually wortwhile
unless the drive's got something vital like those records the IRS wants.
