HA!, I have one in a beige case, and I thought that if I do, then someone else might as well.
I have a lot of them. I believe that that motherboard came out before the Platinum case. Also I think a few of the schools here bought a lot of them at that time because I ended up with a truckload of school machines and about half of them had the single ROM motherboards and all of them were beige. Anyways I wouldn't suggest using the case as a guide to the motherboard, especially in a scool setting where the tech guy would have mixed and matched any part that would work to get a IIe running. Reminds me that when I had a stack of ugly school machines a girl friend got on my case about them so I was agreeable and said I'd get rid of some. Just because I kept the keyboards, motherboards, powersupplies and cards she failed to apreciate my sacrifice. Sometimes there's no pleasing some people
