Yes, this works fine... well, the other way. :) I'm trying to get my old
Apple stuff transferred to a PC so I can run things under an emulator. The
purists may gasp, but I think there's a chance I'll be able to run an
emulator 50 years from now, even if the hardware has physically decayed. :)

The issue I have with using ProTerm (etc) is that with disk flips (etc) it
would take 2-3 times as long per disk transfer as using ADT, and for 40-80
disks it adds up.

Anyway, my suspicion is that Bill and Ed are correct, and that the null
modem cable I have is missing the appropriate DSR-DCD jumper. In fact,
looking at the null modem cable (DIN-5 to Dsub25) I'm using, it doesn't even
have a pin 8!!!! (Just 1,2,3,6,7,20). Well, that might do it. :) I'll keep
everyone posted on the progress. If all else fails, ProTerm will work.
