However, in this case, I suspect it is simply a case of software
running amuck. This bears all the marks of no human even being
involved in the loop.
Apple has an eBay crawler that looks for the "words of the week"
to notify eBay of "infringement". (In this case, I suspect the magic
word was "Appleworks", since that is a current big seller on the Mac.)
eBay has a program that accepts complaints from "registered owners"
and cancels auctions that receive complaints.
Not sure whose program made the "guilt by association" link and
nailed all of the OP's auctions--could have been Apple or eBay.
No malice, just ignorance--like many web nannies.
