This is the second thread on the "RAM card expansion" topic
in a week--maybe it should be in the FAQs (or maybe it already
_is_ in the FAQs  ;-).

The answer is that virtually any 256K x 1 DRAM that fits in the
socket will work fine.  You will be hard pressed to find DRAMs
that are too slow for the Apple II.

Good sources are:  1) old full-size PC RAM cards, 2) some old
PCs, 3) eBay regularly lists sets of eight 41256's for expanding
Apple II RAM cards for a few dollars.
