You can already move a CompactFlash card to the PC, so there
would be little added functionality in moving a USB storage "key".

As I've mentioned before, it is a lot harder to control a USB
device of unknown architecture from an Apple II than it is to
control a CF card (well documented) or an IDE drive (well
documented).

The harder problem isn't writing the driver, it's finding out
what the driver must do.
