Ok the junk store was advertising 50% off for today. I made a note to
schedule an hour or so today for a look around.
I of course headed right for the computer department.
First found a Mac LCII. I popped the top and saw it had a 80 MB drive with
vid mem and expansion mem and now that I know what a PDS slot is I could
see it held a card. It was a cpu box minus cords and all but when I plugged
it into components here at home it fired up with 7.5.3. Not bad for $2.00 I
thought but I pulled the card and discovered it was the //e card. Sweet,
I'll need to learn some about this.
My eyes really lit up when I spotted the bare cpu //gs box.
I popped the top and saw a 1/4 populated 1meg board.
Another card I didn't recognize and another card I didn't recognize.
The rest was average althought it struck me this might be a rom3 version.
Anyway for $2.00 I'd take the spare power supply alone. I still need to
research if this is rom3 as I haven't tried to power it.
Research tonight shows one card is a HS SCSI card. Never had one so I'm
elated.
The other card is a mastery development and searching suggest this was a
school network card. I'd like to learn more about it.
For $4.00 this has certainly keep me entertained today.
