That's an IW-II trick.  The original IW (and the Apple DMP) don't have the
bouncing ribbon carrier.

I do recall some programs that allowed me to do color prints on a DMP,
though...the program would print the page in one color, roll the page
back, prompt the user to install a different color ribbon, print the
second color, and so on until the whole page was done.
