Really? they don't have to aslk you to "cease and desist" they could just sue
you without first giving you the opportunity to comply. You'd already have
committed the offence so you'd have to pay up when it came to court. So
certainly not 100% safe or risk free. Likewise you can't say that "no one will"
(are you psychic?).  Joe's post in fact shows that there are authors out there
who would object.

Honestly you'd be better checking your facts before posting than wasting time
and bandwidth with ascii pictures.
