SuperConvert supports both JPEG and PNG and runs on an Apple IIgs. However, I'm pretty sure those scans will be too high a resolution for SuperConvert to handle without making the resulting images unreadable because they would need to be reduced to what SuperConvert can handle. There are also JPEG viewers that support the SecondSight video card that could probably be used to view them but again, I'm not sure what resolutions would be supported.
How about jpeGS. Really slow on a standard speed IIgs but still works.I seem to recall this proposed usb card as maybe having a jpeg decoder chip. Be pretty neat if that happens.
