     Usually, you can afford to have Slot 2 set to "Your Card" on a IIgs.
Since modern telecom software (like Spectrum, ProTerm, and Modem MGR) does
not use the Slot 2 firmware, you can retain modem and NULL modem connections
without Slot 2 being set to "Modem".
