Re: easy project? apple scsi hd on a card ie..scsi expander
i do have a guestion on powersupply replacement that comes to mind...i see
that people routinely replace power supplies for external hard drives...even
the big old dual bay buggers...and i have more then a few of them and most
of them see to me would fit into a // power supply case (assuming you wanted
to drill the rivets out and put it in)...anyway...realizing that prob these
particular power supplies on the externals would NOT work...but again i see
adds on how they go to some electronics place and plug a new one in..
anyway has anyone ever checked out some of these electronics places and seen
if some off brand at box power supply board could be fitted in // boxes
they are prob too expensive ..you can get // power supplies off the net/ebay
cheap..but was wondering also because perhaps a guy could get one ...and
maybe the schematics and have a cheap way to reverse build one with a
breadboard and some old radio shack parts
anyway..just wondering if there is some electronic's magazine hack of a //
power supply ..should you want to trace down the parts..so to speak
