My father uses 2 GSes for medical research data (as special soft was
develloped for his work some 25 years ago). He used to work on #1
(10Mhz Transwarp, 40Mo Vulcan HDD) and backup data on #2 (no
accelerator, but SCSI controller and 300Mo SCSI HD.)
However, since a week, he has big trouble:
#1 boots fine, but after 1h begins to behave erratically and write
garbage files to the HDD. He tried to disable the accelerator, but no
success.
#2 does not boot anymore from the SCSI HD, and, when booted from a
floppy, the HD is not accessible. From the control panel, the
controller in slot 2 is correctly set to "your card", and the external
HD lights are on
Some ideas on what to do?
