Hoping for some help with transferring files I've downloaded on my PC to my
Apple IIGS. I've got an Apple SSC in the GS and have them cabled together.
I was able to install ADTwin122 on my PC and transfer "ADT.SS" to my GS and
run it from there, so they are talking. Trouble is, I only have a couple of
.dsk images to transfer... what I really wanted to do was transfer some
*files* in ShrinkIt format over, not just 140K disk images. First off would
be the ShrinkIt1.1.sea file, I would think. I've then got some .shk files I
would like to get over there.
Is there a good noobie reference for doing this? It's been a loooong time
since I had an Apple so I'm a little rusty on exactly How Things Work. Would
it simplify things to get a modem for the GS and find some way to download
these files directly to the machine or do I stand a good chance of making
this happen with what I have? Thanks!
