You're on the right track. You need a terminal program
on each of the machines. I use Telix on the PC and on
the Apple, either Z-link or ProTerm. Once you have them
set up and talking at the same baud rate, simply use a
file transfer protocol, I usually use X-Modem 1K, but
some use Z-modem, if the programs have that, to transfer
the files from the PC to the Apple II. After that it is
a matter of using GSHK or Shrinkit 3.4 to extract the
files to floppy or hard drive. I can help you along if
