    That works, thank you!!!  But I'd rather use the power switch than
wait for the diagnostics to be completed.  So I'll repeat my question.
 Is there a program that will erase the RAMDisk in a ROM 01 IIgs?

    The first time I tried the diagnostics I got "System error:
09010001".  It didn't repeat so I'm not going to worry about it. 
Should I be concerned?
