I and some friends had a short lived GBBS system in the 80s with 4 floppy
drives. The only thing we actually bought for the system was a
Thunderclock, which I am still using today.

The BBS is on a 14.4kbps modem today (not that GBBS knows about 14.4),
so if 300 baud scared you off, give it a try today.
