Well, after many years, my trusty AppleColor RGB has smoked.
Although I could prob pick up another on ebay for less than the
cost of the parts for this one on ebay, I want to poke around
inside it anyway.
I remember in the olden days that cracked solder joints around the fly
were a common failure, but since the monitor's survived this long,
I doubt that's the problem. :)
When I popped it open the main fuse was destroyed (black, shattered glass ;)
so I'm guessing the HOT may have shorted...
In any case, does anyone have schematics for this monitor so my hacking
is more like repair and less like shotgunning? :)
