    Simon,

       That's odd that it will not work on your Apple //c+.  That's how
I discovered that it works on the Apple //c+ years ago.  I ran it on an
old GSOS disk, and thought hmm.. What would happen if I moved some
files around and tried to run it on my Apple //c+.  It worked, but like
I said in my earlier post it keeps the the internal 3.5 drive running. 
MouseDesk and Catalyst do the same thing.  From what I was told it has
something about do the way Apple handeled the 3.5 drive in that
computer.

    Maybe you need a fresh copy.  I would be willing to shrink a verion
I have from a dev CD to see if that fixes your problem.
