Re: Those that call the Apple 2 BBS

   Chris,

That's what I was thinking. Because I will be unable to
provide internet access there really isn't any point to put my BBS back
up then. I was just going to dig out my ANET disks for my old BBS and
make some changes and put it in running.

I understand what you are saying for long distance. But with most
long distance co you can get a plan where it's unlimited calling (like
yours). For example I am paying $30 for unlimited long distance.

Making it so you can telnet into the machine is way beyond what I
can do. My programing skills are in AppleSoft Basic and simple Pascal
and C (Slowly teaching my self these two). Not to mention that I am a
Mac user and your software seems to run on a PC. But I see how
telneting into the BBS would be more accessable for most people. Where
now today the only why most people now how to connect is though the
Internet via ISP. (NOTE: I am not saying that's true for people in
this group. I'm generalizing here.)

:::: shrugs ::::: I don't know, maybe I still put it back up just
for the hell of it. Just to see if I remember how to program for
ModemWorks and AmperWorks. Any one know where I can get the lastest
version of these before they where dropped.
