Not sure. Do I need to map the CD Rom to a drive, slot in the RamFast or will GSOS just "see" it?
With the ramfast if you're using GSOS you don't need to map the CD to a slot. Only your boot partition needs to be maped to a slot. If you're only using GSOS apps then that's the only partition that needs to be maped to a slot. If you're using ProDOS 8 apps then any partition you want that app to be able to access. I'll show you a few pics of my ramfast menus. I didn't bother getting out the CD600 again and am using my regulat Toshiba CD drive In ramfast utilities if you're getting the format message like in http://www3.telus.net/waynes/RF_1.JPG then if you just ignore it and click on quit. That should take you back to http://www3.telus.net/waynes/RF_2.JPG where I'd just click quit again and I'd see http://www3.telus.net/waynes/RF_3.JPG The CVTech.ID4.A is what the ramfast is calling this particular CD which happens to be an ISO9660 CD And just to complete things here's the last menu before bootup http://www3.telus.net/waynes/RF_4.jpg If nothing else the pics'wil give someting to refer to Now if you get an "initialize or eject" message after you've booted GS/OS the you're missing a FST, likely HS.FST or HFS.FST Wayne
