I personally have found that newer TVs do better than older ones. No TVdoes 80 column text well, but many do it sufficiently. The picturetubes these days are better quality (sharper picture) and the digitalcircuitry seems better able to handle the extremely complex compositesignals from the Apple II.


Of course, I simply test displays I want to use.  :)
