Well we have problems with ours too. One died spectacularly (where there's
smoke, there's fire!) and the other has been really flaky. I got so sick
of it crashing at boot I installed Yellow Dog Linux on it. You wouldn't
know it though because it spends all it's time running Mac apps using
Mac-On-Linux. The stability is much improved, however. Not only does
Linux not crash, Mac OS 9.1 is more stable running under MOL too...

I got it about 9 months ago on Ebay for $30 or $40, new in box.
That was before I accidently acquired the extra PCs, or I wouldn't have
bothered.
