Bill, I do not disagree with you, but there must be other ways of becoming
a victim. I get about 100 such emails a day on my ground.ecn.uiowa.edu
account. This machine is an old unix variant and can not in any way run a
microsoft program. My hunch is just opening a Microsoft email somehow
makes one a victim, although a victim who is unable to spread the
virus. (? Can I spread the virus if I never send email or attachments
and am not using a microsoft OS?) It is a big PITA problem. Luckily,
this virus/worm hasn't hit the email accounts I actually use.
Is this newsgroup post infected too? Can anyone tell?
