It doesn't help that where most of us expect an "in-use" light, the
Profile has an "!in-use" light instead.

: Actually, for work, as opposed to play, the Monitor /// is a better
: monitor: that cloth screen cut out glare, and the long persistence

My experience was sort of opposite...the long persistence phosphor was
@#$!ed annoying, and because of the cloth surface, it was really dark.
And if anybody touched the screen, it was impossible to remove the
resulting fingerprint.
By comparison, the Monitor ][ had a slightly shorter phosohor, an
adjustable screen angle, and a glass surface with the antireflective
etching on the *back* surface of the tube. Slightly less effective than
the cloth screen, but still effective (compare the composite monitor or
the IIgs RGB with a lovely black tube but NO adjustment and NO glare
reduction)...I think the Monitor ][ is still my favorite of the Apple
monochrome monitors (as though there were so many to choose from...)

: I don't think you are correct here. Again, I could be wrong.
So could I; I never used an Apple ///.
