I remember "Incider/A+" magazines fondly, I liked the latter more, as
their coverage was in-depth, informative and excellent.

Also, "Nibble" was a great programming magazine, something of a rarity
these days.
One of the longest published, as well, which ceased in 1992-3.

Alot of people resented the inclusion of Macintosh-related material,
feeling that the coverage of Apple II would reduce and be replaced by
more Macintosh stuff.
