Cofirm this is what I was referring to:
IIgs --> Mac to VGA adapter --> VGA to component adapter --> Display
After doing some research, looks like the there are multiple definitions
of component video these days. There is the RGB and two mixing schemes
similar to Svideo. The projector I used had component inpuits that
accepted RGB and synched down to 15kHz. The cable was almost a direct
feed with wiring and a little impedence matching inductors to ensure
good video quality.
If you want the S-Video type component out, you will need an adapter to
mix the signals. Again, myu set-up was almost strait through. (Ever
play Sobotage on an 8 foot screen?)
