Willi,
I verified this in the Oasis emulator (for monochrome DHR.) I took the IP 1.5 I had installed on a hard disk image by itself and copied it to a subdirectory named IP on a different hard disk image (directory path is now /hdd0/ip) then reboot to a fresh P8 (ecp8 shell) and changed to the /hdd0/ip path, launched ip.system and it seems to run fine. The HD image is in slot 7, d2.
I just ran a quick 'hello world' test and it seems to work ok. It did require setting the proper directory to save the program somewhere other than the hard disk root directory though. Once it was set, a second save worked fine.
