Well, this one has been soldered on and the jumper pins were
all bent out of shape. I did get it to recognize 8 mb one time,
and passed the memory testing, but after booting and rebooting
several times it started to fail. It seemed to run on 4 mb with no
difficulty until after the 8 mb worked a few times, now even 4 mb
doesn't want to work. I'm afraid this one is just no good and has
been messed with too much. I guess I just have to admit I have
acquired another's problem piece as I have many times.
By the way, do you have all 8 simms in place? You failed to
mention if you're running 1,2 4, or 8 mb.
