Are your files on 5.25" disks or 3.5" disks? Its easy to read 3.5" disks on
an older mac: just put them in in the drive slot and run "Apple File
Exchange" to read the disks.

You can also format PC floppies with AFE, which makes it easy to copy files
from Apple 3.5" disk, to the hard drive, and then to PC 3.5" disk.
