SOT: Ebay pictures

Sorry to vent here but I wanted to get other opinions.....

I have seen lots of Ebay auctions that use the same pictures but don't
specify that what your are seeing is a representation of what you are buying
vs a photo of the actual article.

Some vendors indicate this but most don't.

Would anyone else agree with me that Ebay should force sellers to indicate
that photo representations of articals for sale should state wether it is
the actual artical for sale?

I have seen several auctions of IIc+'s that used the same picture where the
actual text description varied quite a bit. They show a pristine machine
which may or may not be acurate...

Most retailers indicate something to that effect if the picture they publish
does not acturately reflect the goods being sold. Something used most likely
is not in the same condition as a stock apple photo of the original product
for example

I know ...buyer beware and ask questions first ... I just think is sucks and
I am tending to pass up auctions where I think the vendor has used stock or
borrowed photos and has not disclosed this fact in the auction details.
