Weird file types -how to use them

I have a box of Basis 108 user group montly swap disks that are in CPM
format. Most of the files on these disks are in what I'm guessing is a
compressed state but I'm not sure of how to use them. Here is an example:

B.U.G. SWAP DISK 4.1 (MARCH 1987)

I have no idea how to open files of the above type (WQP, QQQ, LQR, PQN,
etc.) Would someone explain to me how to open these files to find out what
they are for?
