Well, OS-9 _was_ available for the Apple II, with the appropriate 6809 
coprocessor card of course :-p It certainly multi-tasked, I don't know 
about multi-users though. Come to think of it, a BBS system with more 
than one modem would qualify as a multi-user system :-)
