The following are two definitions of programming:
6. A set of coded instructions that enables a machine, especially a
computer, to perform a desired sequence of operations. 7. An instruction
sequence in programmed instruction.
Programming is not limited to computers: In traffic control there are
electromechanical devices that are programmed (simple spinning shafts with
micro-switches to detect the programming cogs), looms that use punch cards,
computers that use a variety of media, etc. You obviously are ignorant as
to what programming is. The programming sequence is often repeated, but not
required to fit the definitions.
