That is incorrect. The output of the power supply is +/-5V and +/-12V
*DC*. Aside from the power supply, nothing in the Apple cares what the
line frequency is.
The jumpers and bowties on the logic board control the video frame rate,
so that depends on which video standard you want to use, not the AC
frequency. For instance, I'm in the US where we have 60 Hz power, but
I own some computers that produce PAL video at a 50 Hz frame rate, and
I have a Tektronix studio video monitor that will display PAL. So all
of this is powered from 60 Hz but using 50 Hz video.
