The answer is into _any_ DRAM chip socket, so pick the one that
is most convenient when the card is in slot 0.

Originally, these cards shipped with an empty socket adjacent
to the place where the 16-wire cable plugs into the card.  This
socket was meant to receive the DRAM you unplugged from the
main board to insert the cable.  (In the used market, there is
often a DRAM already plugged into this socket, since the
person who pulled the card from a system didn't realize
that the chip should be replaced in the main board socket
when the card's cable is removed.)
