I am a "MacPerson", and can tell you that the statement above is only 
*KIND OF* correct.

SOME Macs have (if the user hasn't stripped it out as useless cruft) a 
control panel/extension installed that will let them mount a ProDOS 
formatted disk, yes. However, they have *NO* other ProDOS functionality 
unless they're running an emulator that is itself actually running 
ProDOS, or have an Apple II card installed, and have ProDOS running on 
that.
