Yes, and ADT also works on almost all 8-bit Apple II computers (you need
at least 48k RAM), so people who don't have a IIgs can use it to convert
their software and data to .dsk format for emulation and archival purposes.

Well, you need a physical DOS 3.3 disk to get started. I think there's
a bootstrap file that you can upload to your Apple II and that will
write a copy of DOS to memory, with which you can then INIT a disk.
