Re: What model Apple II did your school have?
The Apple IIe first appeared in my classroom at Rockingham Elementary
School in Halifax, NS in 1990 when I was in 4th grade. I don't remember
exactly which model of IIe we had then. However, the Apple IIe's in my
6th grade classroom were the 1987 platinum models with a single 5.25" inch
drive each. One had an Apple monochrome monitor IIe, and the other had an
Applecolor composite monitor IIe. The one with the color monitor also had
an Apple Imagewriter II printer. When I got to junior high we had a
computer lab full of Macs. I loved using The Print Shop and playing a game
called The Pond on the Apple IIe back then.
