Hi,
I had to take the laptop in for a new keyboard anyway, so I had it's 2 gig HD
upgraded to 12. I want to use it as a portable Apple IIe, and maybe a IIGS, as
well as for downloading programs to run on real Apple ][s. The laptop is
running Mac OS 9.2 now, but I'm planning on having the HD partitioned to also
allow OS8.6, which is more friendly for Apple II use.
The OS constraints on the laptop are no lower than 8.1 and no higher than 10
(X). I figure that 8.6 is the lowest that allows the use of USB devices, so
that should be my lower OS.
Any suggestions on my choice of OS, partition sizes, or words of wisdom would
be appreciated.
