PS/2 mouse -> Apple mouse adaptor. Want one?

Does anyone want an adaptor to let them use an IBM PS/2 mouse on their
Apple?

I've put together an adaptor that translates the serial data from a PS/2
mouse into the quadrature encoding that the Apple IIc uses. It should
also work with the Apple II mouse card, Apple IIc+, Laser 128, Lisa, Mac
128, Mac 512 and Mac Plus. The adaptor is basically just a Microchip PIC
microcontroller on a small PCB with a DE-9 plug at one end and a mini-
DIN 6 socket at the other end.

I don't have a PIC programmer at home so I've been working on it at work
after hours. The PIC program still needs a bit of work to tidy it up. It
doesn't yet detect if a mouse is removed and reconnected, and it has one
bug in it where the serial communication can get out of step if the
mouse is moved too quickly(!), but I know where that bug is and it's
easily fixed (famous last words).

I can put the program and construction details on my web site, but most
people won't have a PIC programmer or the ability to construct the
circuit board. So my question is, would anyone want to buy one? This
adaptor would allow you to plug any of the modern optical and/or
wireless PS/2 mice into your older Apple computer. The price would be
about NZ$40/US$20 plus postage.

Speak up now if you're interested!
