You may also want to look at "mkisofs", which includes the features
originally found in "mkhybrid".

To make a long story short, you can create a CD .ISO file with the
appropriate extensions for Rock Ridge (UNIX), Joliet (Windows), and HFS
(Macintosh) all at once.  The disc is fundamentally ISO-9660, so it'll
work on pretty much anything (including MS-DOS).
