Nope all you need is a null modem cable.
The FAQ has instructions on how to send over a null modem cable a copy of
DOS (and where to get it from) The important bits are:
a) the end of line delay
b) Low density disks as I couldn't get hi density ones to work at all.
After that just use ADT.
