Actually, Contiki was written for the Commodore 64. When Adam tried
to test compile it for other cc65 targets, like the vic20, it runs
out of the box once we fixed the Makefile. Of course, fine-tuning
will be required to make a GUI that fits each platform.

I'm not sure how much "fine-tuning" the NES, Atari 8bit, Apple II etc
ports require to run a base system, but as long as it is a supported
target for the compiler, it might run out of the box?
